Infrastructure
National data centers in Ankara and Istanbul and the International Connection Point (PoP) in Frankfurt form the backbone infrastructure of Eser Telekom.
These data centers and connection points are interconnected thru high capacity local and international circuits with redundancy so that the international wholesale voice services and satellite communication services can be offered without interruption and internet outputs at higher capacities.
In addition to the main backbone, satellite ground station based in Ankara is utilized at Eser Telekom satellite communication services.
DATA/CONNECTION CENTERS (PoPs)
IP connections at Ankara and Istanbul data centers and Frankfurt international connection point are provided through the main backbone routers.
Data centers located in Ankara and İstanbul have redundant fiber infrastructure, TDM/SDH systems and Metro ethernet internet connections that are redundant from national internet networks from different operators.
Softswitches, gateways and switches in Ankara and Istanbul data centers are used for TDM and IP interconnections with national operators, gateways in Frankfurt PoP are used for TDM interconnections with international operators within the scope of wholesale voice services.
In addition to these interconnections, gateways are used for interconnections with the national operators, colocated in these operators’ interconnection points.
SATELLITE GROUND STATIONS
Eser Telekom operates a satellite ground station based in Ankara to provide its customers satellite communication services nationally and internationally.
Stations are equipped with satellite antennas ranging in size from 2.4m to 4.6m, RF Systems with full backup, fully air-conditioned device rooms, uninterruptible power supply and generator. 7/24 technical support is also provided.
